Staff, Sexmästeriet - Staff, Marskalkeriet Vinterbalen 2015 - member, Corporate Challenge 2016- President, Novisch Week VT 2016 - Fadde Vinterbalen is LundaEkonomernas biggest event and one of the largest white tie balls in the Nordic Region. Every year in December around 850 students gather at the halls of AF-Borgen to celebrate this popular happening. As of 2016, Vinterbalen hosted an additional event for 400 students the day after. One of the things I loved about my role was that I kind of got a combination of two parts of LundaEkonomerna: social and career. Vinterbalen is under the social pillar but my role was more about contacting companies.

Do you want to be a part of creating one of the largest white tie balls in the Nordic region and the biggest social Vinterbalen is a very appreciated event and creating something that is valuable for so many is something that motivates me. What have you done so far and which are your upcoming plans? I have been the project leader for about two months now and mostly I have been doing research on what we can develop this year by getting advices from the former committee, and having meetings with the board. This year’s winner was Pierre Carbonnier, Lecturer and Academic advisor at the Department of Statistics. In Pierre's case, this is not the first time he receives the prestigious award, in 1996 he got the LUSEM Teacher of the year award for the first time and then again in 2009. The teacher receiving the prize is invited to Vinterbalen where the winner gets announced. This year’s winner was Pierre Carbonnier, Lecturer and Academic advisor at the Department of Statistics.
